If you're on PC: 

Go to Device Manager and set your PC's device type as a PlayStation or Xbox. Now add the device into Geo-Filter (remove and add again if it was already there) Open the side menu and DISABLE Strict Mode. Now Destiny 2 should work properly.

If you're on console:

Add your console to the Geo-Filter, Open the side menu and DISABLE Strict Mode. Now Destiny 2 should work properly.
